XERO Integration Case Studies

The WebCo’s client, a principal representative for the professional interests of writers, approached The WebCo to partner with them to provide support and integration of the XERO Platform. Xero assists with their day-to-day accounting requirements and helps manage their finances more efficiently.

Challenges

Integrate the XERO WordPress plugin into their WooCommerce system.

Integrate XERO into CIVI CRM (Customer Relationship Management) WordPress Plugin.

Provide the ability for NZ Authors staff to send invoices to XERO using the WordPress admin system.

Eliminate the need for the staff to handle membership data both in WooCommerce and XERO. The way the system was set up out of the box meant the client had to update both the CRM and WooCommerce in order to create a Xero Invoice. We configured the system so that the client only had to update WooCommerce saving time as well as improving data integrity.

Our approach involved customising the XERO and CIVI CRM APIs so they worked seamlessly together.

Outcome

The outcome was a seamless membership system that integrated membership invoices into XERO. We have automated the connection between WooCommerce, CIVI CRM and XERO which has prevented our client from doing double the work required.

Through brainstorming and thinking outside the box, the outcome was a complete success.
